Golden Tips Assam - A fine example of high grade Assams. Dark, full leaf with a lot of golden tips. The brew is very malty and full bodied. Ideal tea for the morning. India, Assam region, Lakhimpur District. The world's finest black teas are produced in India (Assam, Darjeeling, & Nilgiri), Sri Lanka, and China. There is more caffeine in black teas than in whites, greens or oolongs. In China black tea is called "red" because of the color the tea water produces.
